I'm conflicted because I'm doing OK based on the performance of teams that I dislike. I was happy for the Phillies for winning it all a few years ago, but after seeing their fans' behavior at Nationals Park, the bloom is off the rose for me. I may have to go with my heart over my head for round 2.
I'm bummed I couldn't dive in to defend my crown. 1) I was traveling and remembered too late, and 2) I would have had a difficult time being logical with my Reds involved for the first time in 15 years.

BM: You can always come in on round 2 -- some of us (cough*me*cough) are doing poorly enough that you'd still have a shot.
