It's a good thing I didn't waste that "Giant Upset" line. . .oh wait. . .

Clearly I should've written this last night, before I took a shot of Tylenol Cold PM and got into bed with a kitten who thinks 3:45 in the morning is a great time to play.

Because I had thoughts about the World Series, but now I'm sitting here trying to process them and the only thing forming in my head is . . ."plttttthhhh."

And that's not a derisive "plttttttthhhhh." I'm glad the Giants won. I wish they'd done it in 7 games, both because I would've gotten more points, and because that would've been a more dramatic series, and because winning the World Series at home is just the only way to do it.

It's a "my brain is soup" "plttttthhhhh."

So I'll let you guys say the things about the series, and I'll just do the math and trust you guys to correct me if I'm totally wrong about it.

Your final standings for 2010:

Tyler: 19
Jeni: 18
JCD: 14
jordanbaker: 14
Vittoria: 13
Steve G: 9
Beefy Muchacho: 8
Mighty Momogus: 8
Rebecca: 8
FOX: 6
WaPo: 6

So the first good news is. . .look at us, kids. Look at the way every single one of us -- even the ones who dropped out before the World Series or came in only for the World Serie, or didn't get anything at all right until the World Series -- look at the way each and every one of us trounced the so-called professionals.

And the second good news is congratulations to Tyler for winning this year's Fearless and Fairly Illogical challenge. You should all go and support his Movember page to congratulate him.

So the all time Hall of Fame (or something) now looks like this:

2010: Tyler (19 points)
2009: Beefy Muchacho (34 points)
2008: I-66 (18 pts)
2007: FOX (20 pts)
2006: Jordan (23 points)

With Beefy Muchacho still holding the all time lead, and no one, ever, having taken more than one year.

And that's it, folks. See you next season. . .or on Thursday for Top Chef Just Desserts. One of those.

Wow, I can't believe that I won!! Just barely... But I've been making improvements each year. If only they had won in 6, I would have had some more cushion. Thanks for doing this Jordan! I will have to save up my luck for a repeat run next year!!

Good job to everyone for beating the "pros!"

Thanks for running the contest. I'm happy the Giants finally one, even though it knocked me out of first place. Congratulations to Tyler.
