So I am currently in a hotel room in Kentucky with my parents, two dogs, and the worlds crappiest WiFi. So let's just make this quick, because there's a lot to take care of: The Brewers won, which I find upsetting on a cosmic level, and because it means the Diamondbacks are out. And because look at that gawdawful mascot, people. It's better to have no mascot than one with so little dignity.
Scores for that round: FOX 3, WaPo 2, JordanBaker 0, JCD 0, Tyler 0, Rob 2, Colleen 3, C S 0.
But on the other end of the joy/horror spectrum....
Savor it.... savor it....
The St. Louis Motherfucking Cardinals defeated those rat bastard Phillies by one point in a game 5 pitchers duel that the word AMAZEBALLS doesn't even begin to describe.

Oh, Philadelphia. How does it feel to pay for a World Series team and get knocked off in the division series? Does it feel good? I bet it feels really, really good, right?
And now I have to go to mass every Sunday between now and Christmas, because that was the bargain I struck with a god I'm not entirely confident in the existence of to get this to happen.
Scores for this round: FOX 0; WaPo; 0; JordanBaker 3; JCD 3; Tyler 0; Rob 0; Colleen 3; C S 0.

The ALCS kicks off this evening, and as you all know, points double (4 for correct team; 2 for number of games) and it's a 7 game series.

And he's not scary or from Texas like the Rangers weird horse. Also, please refer to everything I said about both teams in the initial Division Series Post.
Jordan Says: Tigers in 6.
And now I'm shorter on time than I was when I set off on this, so I'll look up the FOX and WaPo predictions later.

I am very disappointed in my performance this year, so i am going to against what I want to happen and pick the Brewers in 6 and the Rangers in 5. Cest la vie.
I'm sad about my Phillies - their inability to hit good pitching was glaring in a short series, but though they're flawed, they're still a team I love.
On the bright side, watching baseball now is much less stressful!!
