Quick & Dirty Postseason Update

So I am currently in a hotel room in Kentucky with my parents, two dogs, and the worlds crappiest WiFi. So let's just make this quick, because there's a lot to take care of:

The Brewers won, which I find upsetting on a cosmic level, and because it means the Diamondbacks are out. And because look at that gawdawful mascot, people. It's better to have no mascot than one with so little dignity.

The St. Louis Motherfucking Cardinals defeated those rat bastard Phillies by one point in a game 5 pitchers duel that the word AMAZEBALLS doesn't even begin to describe.

Oh, Philadelphia. How does it feel to pay for a World Series team and get knocked off in the division series? Does it feel good? I bet it feels really, really good, right?

And now I have to go to mass every Sunday between now and Christmas, because that was the bargain I struck with a god I'm not entirely confident in the existence of to get this to happen.

The ALCS kicks off this evening, and as you all know, points double (4 for correct team; 2 for number of games) and it's a 7 game series.

I like this guy. His name, apparently, is Paws. And he's not scary or from Texas like the Rangers weird horse. Also, please refer to everything I said about both teams in the initial Division Series Post.
